WHEN researches and develops documents that examine women's housing disadvantage in Canada and its links with government policies. WHEN research aims to draw together information about women's housing concerns from disparate sources, and present it in accessible formats useful for both public education and policy development.

Women and Housing in Canada : Barriers to Equality

The Women's Housing Equality Network was formed in response to the recommendations of the report prepared by the Women's Program at CERA- Centre for Equality Rights in Accommodation. This report-the first study of its kind in Canada-assesses federal government housing and income support policies and programs to determine to what extent they are assisting low-income women in meeting their housing needs.
